ASUS will release the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate in September

The next device will be a member of Asus’ ROG Phone 6 series. Which already includes the ROG Phone 6D ultimate and ROG Phone 6 Pro. Both of which use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

On September 19, several international countries will begin accepting pre-orders for the new Asus ROG Phone 6D Ultimate. Berlin at 2 p.m. local time, and Taipei at 8 p.m. local time. It is tipped to be powered by MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9000+ SoC. The recently released SoC features LPDDR5X RAM and an ARM Cortex-X2 CPU with a maximum clock speed of 3.2GHz. To launch the Asus ROG Phone 6D, Asus has set up a special landing page on its website. The listing does not provide any information about the price or other features of the upcoming device.

The international launch of the Asus ROG Phone 6D Ultimate is scheduled for September 19, the Taiwanese business announced on Monday. The reveal takes place via a special microsite on the Asus website. The MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC will no doubt power the new gaming-oriented smartphone. The ROG Phone 6 series has three smartphones including Asus’ ROG Phone 6D Ultimate, the list already includes the ROG Phone 6 Pro and ROG Phone 6 which was launched in July this year. The new model will likely have comparable features to the other two in the lineup.

Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC powers both versions. They are equipped with a 6.78-inch Full-HD+ Samsung AMOLED screen that supports HDR10+. Has a refresh rate of 165 Hz, and uses special ROG tuning technology. Previous rumors suggested that the Asus ROG Phone 6D Ultimate will use a Samsung 165Hz display. It is said to include a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera and a 6000mAh battery with a 65W fast charging cable.
