Logitech has improved its iconic G502 gaming mouse with lighter materials. And new features such as more speed and high precision, while mostly keeping its design. The new series is called the Logitech G502 X mouse series which comes in a wired version.
A basic wireless form, and another wired variant with RGB lighting. Logitech reduced the weight of its wired gaming mouse to 89 grams by using an exoskeleton with thin walls and a lightweight scroll wheel. It also used an updated version of its proprietary Lightspeed wireless protocol named Logitech G502 X lightspeed to ensure its wireless versions are 68 percent faster in response than the previous generation.
Key Modification:
All three versions use Lightforce hybrid optical-mechanical switch technology. Which (as Logitech explains) combines the sharp tactile click of mechanical switches. With the extremely low latency/speed of optical switches. The company also used the Logitech Hero 25K gaming sensor. The sensor is the company’s most advanced sensor for mouse which provides maximum accuracy and speed. Plus, they come with a removable DPI button. That lets you program the mouse to go faster or slower. You can easily reverse the button’s orientation in order to bring it closer to you. You can also replace it with the blank cover which is included in the box if you want.
The Plus G502 X wireless variant has all the features offered by the other models. But also features a flowing 8-LED light strip. That you can customize with effects and personalization via the G Hub software. While it’ll probably use more battery than its less-obtrusive wireless sibling. It has a play-detection feature that turns off the lighting when you cover it with your hand to save power.
